Our Summer Alpine Trade Exchange Networking event helps individuals and organisations in the mountain industry grow their network their knowledge and ultimately their business through our 3 key event features:
The Trade Exchange
The Trade Exchange is where attendees meet in pre-scheduled, one to one meetings. Our online matchmaking system ‘pitch and match’ allows any trade exchange attendee to search and request meetings with other attendees in the trade exchange. Every attendee is in full control of their calendar. Both attendees must agree the meeting which is then confirmed in both diaries and confirmations sent to both attendees. All meetings last for 20 minutes.

The Forum provide thought leadership for the mountain sports industry. Packed with industry debate, insightful presentations, diverse and engaging panel discussions, the SASTEX Forum sessions are a must-attend for catching up on industry news, trends, issues and innovations.
By gathering the top speakers in business, marketing, management and sales, industry leaders, and senior figures from the travel and mountain sports media together, our SASTEX forum distills many years of knowledge and expertise into presentations and round table debates.
The Forum sessions are linked by one unifying team, for 2019 the theme is ‘Growing the Market’. The mountain sports industry is in a time of unprecedented change, but also unrivalled opportunity. With the global travel market forecasted to grow by 16% by 2022 (source: Mintel, WTM) and the adventure, specialist, and health/wellness segments to grow even more, up to 22% by 2025, there is an enormous opportunity to both grow participants in winter sports, and grow overall visitation to the mountains through new and diversified product offering.
SASTEX 2019 will explore both the threats and opportunities facing our industry, and help all organisations within the mountain sports industry and how to manage the threats, and exploit the opportunities.
Everyone attending the event has access to the networking breakfasts, lunches and the SASTEX party.
LISTEX 2018 was the first trade show we have ever visited in the UK and we absolutely loved it. The organisation was more than great, starting from the various information via e-mail before the events, to the transfers, the forum lectures, the evening event, everything!
The meetings were the best. We got in contact with so many important British travel contacts and with some of them we are already planning good cooperations for the future.
We definitely will be back next year and can only recommend this event!

SASTEX exists to bring together individuals and companies in the Summer Mountain Sports Industry to exchange idea, solve challenges and build amazing experiences for their customers – everyone visiting the mountains in winter. Whilst deals are done in the Trade Exchange and the biggest challenges facing the industry are explored and debated in the Forum, often it’s in the more relaxed atmosphere of coffee breaks or post event drinks where important alliances are formed.
At SASTEX, there are numerous networking opportunities, over the hosted breakfast on each day, at regular coffee breaks, during hosted lunches, and especially during the SASTEX party where food, drink and music provide a more relaxed atmosphere and many of the UK’s leading Mountain Sports Press join other attendees to discuss the day (and seasons) events.
I can honestly say there is no more effective or enjoyable way to meet the British-based snowsports industry than at LISTEX. In one room for two days were all the people and companies that you could hope to meet. I am pleased to say that 4 months on many of season 2 sales have come from conversations that started at LISTEX.
